Fire Retard Ants is a Seattle Based collaboration focusing on exploring adolescent experiences and how they shape our lives as adults.
Mr. Rogers told me as a kid that we were special. Now all we have to do is prove that he was right, but we’re having trouble.
Can I go to Pizza Hut too?

Little Mike and Auntie Lor were very close indeed
They would take walks in the park with little or no speed
One day Little Mike told his Auntie Lor
“Oh it’s okay to walk there….”
And when Auntie Lor took a step…
All she found was air.
And then she sunk up to her knees
In snow all wet and white
And Little Mike, he did laugh
With all his mirth and might.
Little Mike also loved to stomp
Upon Auntie Lori’s feet.
This also made him laugh and laugh
It really was quite sweet.
And don’t forget the money stump
That Auntie Lor and Uncle Ken
Would secretly fill.
Then Little Mike and brother Char
Would dig for coins and really get a thrill.
And then there was that Halloween..
That gave those boys a scare
Maybe that is why
That now they grow no hair?
Those were good days that came and went
And Little Mike grew up and away
But Auntie Lor will always cherish
The memories each and every day.
I miss you Mike!!

It’s scary to wonder what little kids had to give up their soccer uniforms… we all know that you starving artists can’t afford to buy them so where did those uniforms come from?
